Bonding (also known as direct composite veneers) involves applying a specialised, highly aesthetic composite material to the surface of the tooth. • Home hygiene: Brush your teeth at least twice a day and use dental floss and a water flosser.
• Avoiding staining foods and drinks: Composite can absorb pigments in the first days after the procedure and over time (just like natural teeth) from coffee, tea, red wine or soy sauce. It's worth limiting them or rinsing your mouth with water afterwards.
• Dropping bad habits: Avoid biting your nails, opening packages with your teeth or biting very hard objects (nuts, hard sweets).
• Check-ups and polishing: We recommend visiting the dentist every 6 months. Professional polishing of the composite refreshes its shine and removes any deposits.
