About me
The owner of myDentist clinic is Dr. Magdalena Osiewicz, who has not only extensive clinical experience, but also rich scientific achievements – she participates in many international research projects and frequently publishes her texts in prestigious foreign journals. She is a prosthodontics specialist. She works as an assistant professor at the Department of Integrated Dentistry of the Medical College of the Jagiellonian University in Krakow, and is also a scientist and lecturer at the Academic Centre of Dentistry Amsterdam (ACTA).
Dr. Magdalena Osiewicz
She graduated in dentistry from the Medical College of the Jagiellonian University in 2005, and then went to Amsterdam for specialization studies. There, under the guidance of masters, for three years she learned BONDING methods, gained knowledge about functional disorders, as well as complex prosthetics. In 2009 she passed the specialization exam before an international commission in Amsterdam, in 2013 she defended her doctorate in dentistry at the Medical College of the Jagiellonian University, and in 2014 she passed the specialization exam in prosthodontics. She obtained the degree of habilitated doctor of medical sciences in 2021, based on research on the frequency, etiology and diagnosis of functional disorders of the stomatognathic system.
Dr. Osiewicz has been running her private practice myDentist since 2010. On a daily basis, she uses the NON-INVASIVE method of improving tooth health and aesthetics BONDING that she developed, for which she uses materials and treatment methods tested in cooperation with foreign research centers. At myDentist, she also performs complex and specialized prosthetic-implantological procedures necessary for some smile metamorphoses.
Apart from her private practice, Dr. Osiewicz works as an assistant professor at the Department of Integrated Dentistry of the Medical College of the Jagiellonian University. She is also a research worker at the Academic Centre of Dentistry Amsterdam. As a researcher, she deals with functional disorders, bruxism and materials science, and systematically publishes the results of her research in specialized medical journals, including in 'Dental Materials' – the world's best journal in the field of dental materials science.
