Periodontology - Treatment of Periodontal Diseases

When should a periodontologist help us? The most common symptom of periodontal diseases is bleeding gums (during tooth brushing / eating or spontaneous). Remember that healthy gums do not bleed! So if you observe bleeding from the gums, periodontal treatment may be necessary.

Other alarming symptoms include:

  • tooth movement
  • tooth loosening
  • exposure of tooth necks
  • gum inflammation
  • tooth sensitivity to temperature changes
  • bad breath
  • bad taste in mouth
